Chef Yum Tum made a call to her good friend Akingbogun (A-king-bo-gun), who lives in the ancient city of Kano in the African country of Nigeria. He had a family recipe he helped to cook with his mother when he was young. Groundnut Soup. Traditionally this soup is made with ground peanuts or peanut butter, but you can also use cashew or almond butter. Vegetarian kids can make this too! It's a great soup if you don't like to eat meat. And still great if you do.

- Lower the heat and cook 30 more minutes.
- When you serve your soup you can garnish, or decorate the top of your soup with crushed nuts, parsley, cilantro, or a little yogurt before serving to your guests.
Serve with rice. And Akingbogun likes to eat melon with his bowl of soup.
You choose what sounds good to you.
